Yoga

Our beautiful new yoga studio offers breathtaking views of the Andean peaks and the Rivadavia River valley. At La Rinconada, you'll experience Argentina in a truly unique way. The studio, conveniently located on the property, is a short walk from your accommodation and is fully equipped with mats, weights, blocks, and all the amenities you need. We have hosted numerous yoga retreats here and can arrange for an on-site instructor if your group is interested. The studio is an integral part of the La Rinconada Ranch experience.

Fly Fishing

Just minutes from La Rinconada, Los Alerces Park is renowned for some of the best fly fishing in the world. The Rio Rivadavia connects two large lakes within the park, and guides often start at Lago Rivadavia and make their way to Lago Futalaufquen. Anglers can catch Rainbow and Brown trout, with occasional Brookies and Landlocked Salmon, depending on the water temperature and season.

For a more leisurely experience, you can enjoy placid floats by canoe, kayak, or stand-up paddleboard (SUP) on the serene waters. After a day on the water, return to La Rinconada to grill up your catch and savor some of the region’s exquisite wine.

Horseback Riding

The property features horses grazing throughout the area, and we have stables on-site where we can arrange horseback riding excursions. Whether you're a beginner trotting around the stables or seeking a more adventurous trek through the mountains, there’s an option for every skill level. This region is renowned for its equestrian heritage, and you’ll have the opportunity to see working gauchos in action. We can also arrange rides with local guides to enhance your experience.

Hiking

Los Alerces Park, just minutes from La Rinconada Ranch, is one of the most stunning attractions in central Patagonia. Spanning an impressive 631,000 acres, the park features dense forests, lakes, lagoons, hills, and towering glaciers. It offers around twenty different excursion trails suitable for vehicles, horseback riding, and mountain biking. Among the most popular and scenic trails is the Cinco Saltos Trail: a moderately challenging ascent that takes about two and a half hours, starting from Puerto Limonao and leading to the Los Pumas stream waterfalls.

Additionally, La Rinconada Ranch features a network of trails that meander through its 880-acre property, accessible right outside your door.

Overland Travel

For those eager to explore Patagonia, renting a car offers the freedom to travel overland to numerous parks and destinations within a day's drive from La Rinconada.
